Pilates Mat
The goal of Pilates is to educate the body to move in the most efficient way, to create balance among stretch, strength and flexibility , reinforcing and harmonizing the inner muscles. Only stretch or only strength are not enough: your muscles have to be elastic, they have to learn how to work in two different and perfectly balanced directions, connected in the centre. Joe Invented the Universal Reformer to help us with that. Jay Grimes invented the expression “two way stretch from a strong center” to explain that. Gloria will work with you during this workshop to find it in your own body and to understand how to use the Reformer for that. You will explore the machine, the order, the flow, the rhythm…
Wunda Chair, Electric Chair, Arm Chair… All these precious pieces of equipment demonstrate the genius of Joe Pilates! Discover with Gloria all the potential of the Chairs… you can work vertical, with more or less support, you can challenge the balance and the proprioception in new and complete ways and you can have a deeper and clearer understanding of the entire System, connecting these exercises with those of the others equipment and of the Mat!
Working with imbalances… as Pilates teachers we all face this aspect of our work. Gloria will share with you her vision, experience, perspective on how to use the immense possibilities that the System offer us to address different kind of imbalances! Trusting, using and respecting the work and the bodies!

Pilates ring
The Mat is the heart of the entire Method of Joe Pilates. Join Gloria in this workshop to go deeper in the whole session of the 34 exercises shown in the book “Return to life through Contrology”. You will feel the exercises in your own body, will understand the order, the specific rhythm and the specific energy of each exercise, to understand not only the biomechanics, but the real meaning and purpose of this amazing workout! Bring your questions, your doubts, your enthusiasm to “squeeze the juice out” of your body!
Bottom’s up! Constructing inversions
Take a look at things from another perspective, literally! Gloria will show us how to safely and effectively construct and progress inversions, guiding you to understand their importance and where , when and how to use them in the System. Gloria is ready to turn your world upside down!

Conditions, cancellation and refund request
TecnoStudio srl, owner of the TecnoPilates brand together with Marylin Germain, owner of the PilatesEquilibre & Co, organizers of the “Workshop with Gloria Gasperi 2024 Cannes” event, reserve the right to confirm the scheduled date for the workshop by (and no later than) 07th August 2024 .
If the number of registrations proves inadequate to confirm the planning of the event, the workshop will be canceled and all registration fees received will be returned in full, without any penalty or deductible. Those who have booked the workshop, but who need to cancel their registration, can request the cancellation of the booking and the consequent return of the registration fee paid according to the following methods:
- Request for cancellation of enrollment received by 31st July 2024: the enrollment fee will be refunded in full, less a deductible of € 100.00 for administrative expenses in addition to the PayPal commission amount (in case of a purchase made via online payment).
- Request for cancellation received by 06th August 2024: 50% of the subscription fee will be refunded, less a deductible of € 100.00 for secretarial expenses in addition to the PayPal commission amount (in case of purchase made by online payment).
- Request for cancellation of enrollment received after 06th August 2024 – no refund of any enrollment fee paid is foreseen.
